Being one of the pioneers in the confectionery industry in Penang, Sin Ka Oon began its humble beginnings with a road-side stall selling sundries, home-baked breads, cakes, and puffs but has since moved its operations into 3 units of shoplot along Jalan Paya Terubong in Air Itam. While the bakery serves up a large variety of bread and buns, baked fresh daily, their bestseller is the quality Kaya and Coconut Jam, preserving the flavours of yesteryears. Both the loaf and Kaya are selling like hotcakes, so be there as early as possible.
